We are a Family Run Food Market Deli & Gift Store based in Ballintemple, just outside Cork City. Along with the finest Artisan Take Home Meals we offer Coffee, a mouth watering selection of Cakes, Salads, our cult followed Ciabatta Range, a small array of Home Fragrances & Gifts. We also have a carefully chosen wine & champagne selection. All of our ingredients and gifts are sourced with great care and are local, where possible.

About us
Owners, Gareth & Carole Kendellen have many years in the Hospitality & Catering Industry and together they have recruited a team of three fabulous chefs and refined Basil into what it is today.
They launched their online platform basil.ie, within a week of the national lockdown in March. Since then, the Ballintemple couple have seen orders for their products, care packs & hampers come from Singapore, Dubai, Australia, Japan, the UK & to be delivered locally to relatives and friends.
